Dr. Michael Lindsay 
Michael Lindsay, Ph.D., serves as the President of Taylor University, one of America’s leading Christian universities. Lindsay assumed this role after a decade of service at Gordon College on Boston’s North Shore. Since assuming the Taylor presidency, the University has experienced significant momentum in advancement, admissions, and campus excitement for a new strategic plan. Lindsay was a member of the sociology faculty at Rice University, where he won multiple awards both for his teaching and academic research. He is the author of two dozen scholarly publications and numerous books. Lindsay earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Princeton University and graduate theological degrees from Wycliffe Hall at Oxford University and Princeton Theological Seminary. He is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Baylor University where he has been named Outstanding Young Alumnus. Lindsay has been married for over 25 years to his wife Rebecca, an accomplished teacher and speaker who serves as Taylor’s Ambassador for the University. They are the proud parents of three daughters, Elizabeth, Caroline, and Emily.

 

Dan Simon
Dan has been an educator for over 30 years in public, charter, and private school contexts, serving in leadership roles for over 25 of those years. After starting his career as a mathematics teacher, coach, and advisor, he rapidly ascended to school and district leadership roles, including 15 years as a High School Principal and Superintendent. Under Dan’s tenure as Principal of High Technology High School, the school rose to the #1 rank of US high schools (according to US News & World Report).

Dan’s outstanding communication skills and ability to create strong school community relationships have been his greatest quality as an educational leader. Student and parent voice has always been a top priority, which is supported by his personalized focus on the needs of each individual student, with unique talents and potential. His servant leadership model has been an inspiration for colleagues and students alike to challenge themselves and aspire for greatness.

Dan has continued to share his expertise as a coach, consultant, speaker, and trainer as well as an adjunct professor. His ability to forge mentoring relationships have helped lead others to successful academic and professional advancement and attainment of personal goals. Many former students and clients maintain contact with Dan for continued encouragement and inspiration, which is a testament to the priority he places on personal relationships.

Dan has been working in the college coaching/advising industry for the last 6 years and has served students and families with expert guidance, grace, and humility.

 

Andy Lynch
Andy is the President & CEO of North Star Marketing, an enrollment marketing firm based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Andy started North Star in 2000 and took on the firm’s first independent school client in 2001. Today, the firm has 27 full-time team members and serves education clients across the country. North Star Marketing has four areas of focus: lead generation, website development, messaging, and branding.

Andy is an avid soccer fan (and sometimes player) and supports Liverpool Football Club (YNWA!). He and his wife, Sheryl, have three (remarkable) children and enjoy talking smack on the pickleball court.
