Strong schools don't happen by accident. Well-educated Trustees who understand the decisions they are empowered to make while supporting the Head of School in running the daily operations create environments where schools thrive. Good nonprofit, independent school governance is key to creating a healthy, stable, and sustainable school culture.


Heads of Schools and their entire Boards of Trustees are invited to join NCAIS for our annual virtual governance workshop. We will cover prudent topics, including Governance 101, Leadership 101, Strategic Planning Processes, and the Role of Data. It will be an interactive session, with intentional time for collaboration and discussion around case studies and current events. Plan on gathering your stakeholders to participate in this live, virtual event from 10:00am to 1:00pm on September 26, 2023. For one flat rate of $325, your entire group can participate.
