NCAIS Institute for Teachers New to Independent Schools is designed for teachers new to an NCAIS school. The association has redesigned this event to give participants the opportunity to:

• Gain a national, regional, and state perspective of independent schools (governance and culture included)

• Take and interpret the DiSC Assessment (personality assessment)

• Discuss best practices for parent communication

• Explore critical elements of student and parent engagement

• Reflect (personal and professional)

• Focus on growth mindset
