Strong learning communities are deliberately cultivated through serving, nurturing, and empowering students. They succeed when all community members feel ownership, feel valued, and feel safe. How do we, as educators, foster the social-emotional growth and awareness necessary to build a strong community? Join us on October 18, 2019, as we engage each other in discussion, debate, and practices that will enable us to cultivate the best in our students, ourselves, and our schools. Together, we can create thriving communities!

Conference Presentation Proposals

NCAIS has a long history of member educators presenting at the Annual Conference. We welcome classroom teachers, specialists, administrators, and other NCAIS educators to submit a proposal to present at the 2019 Annual Conference.n We will also accept a limited number from professionals outside of the NCAIS community.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is March 29, 2019.

The conference planning committee will review all submissions and notify selected presenters by mid-May, 2019. If you have any questions about submitting a proposal, please reach out via email to Stephanie Keaney, Director of Professional Development ([email protected]). If you have difficulty submitting a proposal online, please reach out to Rebecca Slay ([email protected]).

Please note: Presenters will receive a discount registration code and are expected to register for and particpate in the full day of conference events.
