Independent School Policies Boot Camp

Join Megan Mann and Janice Gregerson, attorneys with Venable, a well-respected national law firm specializing in independent school law, for a day-long deep dive into independent school policies.  More specifically, we will review policies that schools should have in employee handbooks, student handbooks, and related external documents, such as travel policies.  We’ll discuss best practices, red flags, potential blind spots, and trends that Venable is seeing across the independent school community.  You’ll have a chance to see sample provisions and ask questions to help you shore up your policies and make your school less vulnerable to legal issues in the coming year.
