Speaker Bio: Officer Jonathan Frisk

Officer Frisk has over 17 years of law enforcement experience.  He is currently assigned to the Community Services Bureau, where he provides a number of different safety seminars and presentations to businesses, schools, neighborhoods, and churches.  He is Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s internal expert on active shooter training and has trained over 20,000 civilians in the Charlotte (NC) region.

Officer Frisk does weekly news stories with all the local television stations in Charlotte that pertains to crime prevention. 

He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times 2019 Active-Shooter training. Prior to working with the CMPD, he attended Edinboro University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

• ASIS- Risk, Threat, and Vulnerability Assessment
